GLORF-Global Otology Research Forum

We are proud of having the privilege of organizing the first Meeting of GLORF - Global Otology Research Meeting in 2013.

Global Otologic Research Forum (GLORF) has been recently established with the contribution of leading societies in the field; The Politzer Society, The European Academy of Otology and Neurootology, American Otological Society, American Neurootology Society, Japan Otological Society, Korean Academy of Otology and British Society of Otology. The task has been to give the opportunity of presenting ongoing and recently finalized researches in the fields of otology and neurotology during the special sessions dedicated to GLORF.

We believe that 2013 GLORF Meeting will have great impact for the future of otology. With this opportunity, the new ideas will be presented to the minds for further projections. We reckon it will also help to improve knowledge and skills in otology for the future opinion leaders in otology throughout the world and establish networks among medical doctors responsible for research in otology, enabling them develop new ideas for geriatric health programs and harmonize practices.

We welcome the latest projects, basic and clinical research, to a discussion atmosphere to stimulate further thoughts,new ideas and share the experience to shed light on the new ideas which are the very purpose of this new project.

The inaugural event of GLORF will be a one-day meeting that will take place on November 13th, 2013 as part of 29th Politzer Society Meeting.

The scientific program of this first event will be built up with the contributions made by the representatives of founding societies. The main topics will be announced on the official website www.glorf.org as well as 29th Politzer Society Meeting website www.politzer2013.org.

The scientific program will be organized as oral presentations of researches as well as poster sessions.

We are looking forward to this new leading scientific event which will provide stimulus for new developments. The leading otology societies, the leading scientists will be there for discussions. The leading industries will be there to give awards and support further clinical applications.
